What We Are:
The Abigail Circle is comprised of girls in the church between the ages of 12 and 19.
When We Meet
That Abigail Circle meets the 1st Saturday of each Month from 10:00 A.M. - Noon
Mission Statement:
Their mission is to provide a wholesome environment for youth development as well rounded and balanced individuals. The aim of the Abigail Circle is to help keep in focus the true values of good morals, high standards of living, Christian virtue, and to discourage all forms of vile behavior that violates true Christian virtue
Foundational Scripture:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness, and all these things all these things shall be added unto you Matt. 6:33
Purpose:
The Abigail Circle (Female Purity Class) is unique and unlike any other organization of its kind in that, it not only teaches young ladies how to be pure, chaste, and holy in the home, school, neighborhood and church; but it offers a full activity and involvement program that discourages the need in Christian youth for the companionship of the world.We are a very sensitive department, for we cater to the age levels that are trying to find themselves, to know who they really are and what they want to do in life. They are yet unsure of where and how far up the ladder of success they should aim. Finding oneself is not an easy job unless there is someone there to guide them. Now, this is where my work begins as I help them to establish Purity but to also develop healthy relationships,raise self-esteem, love , love themselves and others the Lord has commanded by making godly positive choices and overcoming the every day challenges of adolescence
Vision:
To design a Christian activity program that provides for my youth: motivation, instruction and inspiration toward high standards of living. Providing a fellowship experience that makes possible, opportunities for Christian youth to enjoy each other on a social and informal level. To be sure to help the Abigail Circle girls feel an obligation toward the over all church program. To be constantly mindful that the unique contribution I make in the lives of my youth is a strong and powerful emphasis on Purity via rap sessions on homemaking, chastity, Christian charm, dignity, and social ethics.
