Living It Like Yeshua’
What We Are: Living It Like Yeshua’ (LILY) is a training ground for young ladies 12 - 18 who have accepted the Lord as their personal savior and feel a unique call to learn how to walk in the spiritual ways of the Lord. It Is designed to expose and mentor young ladies to the spiritual disciplines needed to be successful in their walk with and calling of God.
Mission Statement: The mission of LILY is to help bring young ladies into a living, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. To mentor our young ladies into actively and enthusiastically expressing love for God and others through their learned Spiritual Disciplines.
Foundational Scriptures: O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters; train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it and though shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And thou shalt teach them diligently Deuteronomy 6:5-9, Proverbs 22:6 and Jeremiah 9:20
Purpose: The purpose of LILY is to help young ladies reach their present and future potential by equipping them with the spiritual disciplines necessary to learn and develop their spiritual giftedness and to take their time in the bible from the pages of ideas to the everyday living application. It is the purpose of LILY to inspire and empower the young ladies to become comfortable with who they are in the Lord and confident in operating in their spiritual giftedness, It is the purpose of LILY to understand the power and importance of prayer and to develop a fruitful prayer life. The final purpose of LILY is to mentor the young ladies in becoming activist and advocates for Jesus Christ based on their personal relationship with Him.
Vision: It is my desire to see each LILY of Cornerstone Community COGIC to become GEMS. GEMS is an acronym for Girls Enthusiastically Meeting the Savior. My vision is to see each of the LILYs of Cornerstone Community COGIC fully equipped, motivated, and passionately engaged in living out their faiths while actively and enthusiastically expressing love for God and others.
