Pastor Wayne Lott a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at a very young age.
After graduating from High school and marrying the love of his life, Patricia, Pastor Lott set out in his career in the United States Air Force where he was blessed with some very fine Elders who mentored him as God prepared him for his various spiritual as well as natural assignments. His first assignment took him and his wife behind the “iron curtain” to West Berlin Germany where he served for three years. While in Berlin, Pastor Lott was chosen to serve as a deacon at the Berlin Church of God in Christ, pastored by Elder Neal.
In 1983, the Lord sent Pastor Lott to Colorado Springs, an assignment that would change his life forever. While in Colorado Springs, God directed Pastor Lott’s path to the Faith Mission House of Prayer, COGIC under the dynamic Leadership of Pastor Clifford Lee Walton and First Lady Mother Clara L. Walton. Under their leadership Pastor Lott experienced a move of God like he has never experienced before. While serving the Lord as a deacon at Faith Mission, Pastor Lott received the call to the Gospel ministry. This was Pastor Lott’s “birthing out” place where God confirmed His word through signs and miracles. One such miracle was the birth of the Lott’s first born son, Wayne Stephen Lott Jr., after doctors told the Lott’s that they would not be able to have children. “When the devil says no, God says YES!” Then God punctuated his point with the birth of their second son Michael A. Lott. This assignment was truly a faith mission for Pastor Lott. Pastor and Mother Walton became Pastor Lott’s spiritual parents and prepared him for his next level in God.
The Lord then sent Pastor Lott to Panama City, Florida where he was first licensed and began to peach the gospel under the leadership of Pastor Carl O. McDaniel. He has been preaching the Gospel ever since, never turning his head to look back. Following this he was sent to South Korea where, he served as an associate minister at the Upper Room Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor Danny Buskey and Pastor Dwight Goodman. When Pastor Lott’s year in Korea was over, the Lord then sent back to Florida to pick up his family and together they headed to his last duty location, Tacoma, WA. While here Pastor Lott served under Pastor Robert Jones. In 2001, Pastor Lott stepped out on faith to fulfill the ministry God had ordained him to do. On Dec 31, 2000, Cornerstone Community Church came to fruition as Pastor Lott announced his call to Pastoral ministry.
